Lovely Dickie.Had a very pleasant start on my local pond with a couple of friends from Wales.Just the three cane sticks on the water!.A handful of tench obliged as did some wonderful "Crabtree" coloured rudd.
It is a lovely illustration John - I have just updated with the artist. It was a present from a dear friend who had it for donkeys years - it is the perfect opening day river scene I think.Creaking cane, Dickie
Lovely Champ - perfect opening day, not just about the fishing. My float dipped a few times.....keep an eye here for an update this week. May the spirit of Izaak be with you, Dickie
