Strange one this. Either a very well endowed carrot or a dodgy three fingered hand from an MR James book..............agggghh, remember that hand in The Stalls of Barchester? Yes, me too. Even though it scares me I still won't be able to resist a little viewing on Christmas Eve. Just as long as it's not me letting the hounds out for their last sniff round the garden before bed!

Is there an M R James ghost story on this Christmas?
My favourite story is The Aquatint, I think that's the correct title. A printmakers ghost story, but I love the all. Oh, and Dicken's The Signalman.

Hi John, unfortunately I don't think there is one on this year - will have to get out one of my well worn DVDs! I remember watching The Ash Tree as a nipper....frightened the life out of me!!
